Sound healing works through resonance and entrainment — vibrations from bowls or gongs travel through air and tissue, converting to electrical signals the brain interprets, guiding brainwaves toward calmer states and shifting the nervous system into relaxation (backed by growing but still-developing research on stress, HRV, and anxiety). This mirrors Nada Yoga, the ancient “yoga of sound,” which teaches all creation arises from vibration — Ahata Nada (audible sound like chanting or bowls) and Anahata Nada (subtle inner sound felt in deep meditation).
